HOW TO USE

DIRECTIONS: if this is your first time using Retinol + Blemish Complex, start gradually.

• After cleansing the skin and applying Daily Power Defense spread the retinol on evenly.
• Avoid the eye area, the neck and the décolleté.
• Start three times a week.
• Increase the frequency to every other day.
• Then increase use to every day, if tolerated.

Adverse reactions
Redness, peeling, dryness, burning or stinging are all normal and expected reactions when starting to use retinol. With regular use of the product, the skin will adjust, revealing a smoother, more even and younger looking complexion. Pair the retinol with a ZO® moisturizer to minimize adverse reactions. Consult a doctor for a personalized retinol protocol. Like prescription retinoic acid, retinol will make your skin more sensitive to the sun. Wear an SPF 50 or higher sunscreen daily.

KEY INGREDIENTS

0.25% retinol in microemulsion:
greatly improves pore exfoliation to prevent future acne; promotes healthy collagen production and improves the appearance of acne scars and skin smoothness.

2% encapsulated salicylic acid:
clears impurities and eliminates existing breakouts with a prolonged pore cleansing action.

Potassium azeloyl diglycinate + cetyl tranexamate mesylate:
Derivatives of azelaic acid and tranexamic acid; minimize the formation of red and brown post acne marks for clear, even skin.
